Nobody wished season 1 of The Final of Us to finish. As we watched Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) journey throughout the USA within the wake of a devastating fungal pandemic, we hoped the adoptive father-daughter duo would discover security. However there was little hope for that. Being resistant to the fungal an infection, Ellie wanted to journey to the Fireflies, a bunch looking for a treatment for the illness. However when Joel discovered Ellie’s life would must be sacrificed for the treatment, he rebelled, killing many Firefly members to save lots of her.
